DERRICK
Derrick has immersed himself for many years in the professional world of architecture and design. While he strongly values responsive, purposeful and sustainable design that integrates creativity and integrity, he also began searching for a holistic value system to sustain his own well being. Derrick has been expanding his journey of discovery, learning and transformation through a blend of Yoga and ontological coaching that somatically supports the well being across physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual domains through the simple yet complex notion of shifting and expanding the observer.
Derrick believes that there are enlivening opportunities for transformation to uncover at the boundaries between where we are and where we grow. In observing the yoga and coaching practices as a reflection of life, he continues to reframe the layered context of being with openness, acceptance, appreciation and gratitude.
His approach to learning, sharing and teaching is that of courage, compassion and curiosity. He is also intrigued by the balanced action of Sthira Sukha which embodies steadiness with ease, where in finding a natural extension of who you are and what you are, there is lightness, clarity, flow and alignment with the universe.
Derrick has completed 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and has attended workshops with teachers such as Noah Maze, Rocky Heron, Mark Robberbs, Jade Wood and George Anthony. Derrick has also trained with notable Yoga teacher Baron Baptiste and completed 100 hour Baptiste Institute Level One - Journey Into Power.

ALY
Aly’s yoga journey began soon after she abandoned getting a corporate job and took time to travel and explore her many different interests and hobbies. Gradually, yoga practice became the constant pillar amidst her busy schedule and constant movement. She decided to go back to its roots and did her yoga teacher training in Rishikesh (India) and also taking her Ayurvedic Holistic Massage course. India has answered the questions she never asked before and guided her back to the answers that she has already known within her.
She is also a Strala guide; after taking the Intensive Strala Training with Tara Stiles founder of Strala Yoga this June 2016. The different approach to movement and breath reignited a spark in her. Moving freely with ease having no expectations of how a pose should look like but focus on feeling in the pose and most definitely in the transition of movement. She hopes to create space in your heart and inspire you to just move and reconnect to your natural true self. So expect to have fun, be you, be authentic and freely express yourself on the mat with Aly.

NAJIAH
Najiah started practising yoga while still in university but her practice only deepened after sedentary but draining corporate life took over. She is grateful to have found yoga as a tool to keep sane when everyday situations throw her off balance. She enjoys moving with mindfulness and is encouraged by finding a deeper connection with the body in each practice. She believes in moving with ease and enjoying each moment. She hopes to share the joy and peace that yoga has brought her to all.
She has her friend to thank for asking her along randomly to attend a yoga teacher training, but leaving her to complete it alone. That was probably one of the best decisions of her life. She has since completed her 200hour training with Yandara Yoga School in Bali and 85hour Prenatal course with Hom Yoga, Singapore. She is currently pursuing her 500hour training with Yoga Medicine by Tiffany Cruikshank and gains further inspiration through various online courses and teachers like Jason Crandell. Najiah is also a happy Reiki Master and has completed Balanced Body's Mat Pilates 1 and 2 and Reformers 1.

AMANDA
Amanda has always been very active in sports, but also very guilty of not stretching after! It was only after she started taking her martial arts training (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) seriously that she started practising yoga to find more balance in her body, prevent injuries and calm the mind. The more she practiced, the more yoga began to grow on her.
Amanda completed her 200-hrs Yoga Teacher Training Course conducted by Yoga Vendanta at the Dayananda Ashram in Rishikesh, India. Amanda is a firm believer of not taking yourself too seriously and that it's perfectly fine to fall out of a pose and have a laugh, as long as we pick ourselves up and keep moving! She hopes to bring fun and energy into her flowy vinyasa sequences and invites everyone to come along and have a good time on the mat!
